Dutch Oven Cobbler

Dutch Oven Cobbler is the yummiest and easiest conclusion to a satisfying
dutch oven meal. Whether, you’re indoors around the dinning room table
or outdoor’s in Mother Nature’s backyard.

Dutch oven cobbler can be enjoyed in almost any flavor. Favorite dutch
oven cobblers are peach, apple and cherry. But don’t forget about a good
boysenberry cobbler.

There are many recipes for dutch oven cobbler. You can find some in the
recipe books listed on our site. But, for a quick and easy one to begin with
here is one we use.

Dutch Oven Cobbler

12-14 inch dutch oven
Aluminum foil
1-2 cans pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
1, 12 oz can 7-Up
4 Tbsp. butter

Line dutch oven with foil. Spread pie filling evenly over foil. Top with dry
cake mix. Pour 7-Up over the top. Melt butter or margarine and drizzle
over the top. Or cut up butter and sprinkle over the top. Bake cobbler at
350 (one charcoal briquette per inch of dutch oven, top and bottom.) for 30
minutes or until golden. Serve your dutch oven cobbler warm with ice-
cream and Enjoy.
